In June 2033, Lin Jiejie, Director of the Transitional Committee at the time, signed a presidential decree dismissing Vice President Edmerson, Education Minister Aaron Hughes, and Finance Minister Guo Xingrui from their positions.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that Edmerson's spouse, Greina, was a spy for the US. During his tenure, Edmerson leaked a significant amount of secrets, leading to serious suspicions of illegal activities and misconduct. Eventually, Lin Jiejie signed the presidential decree to remove him from office.
